Weld Fume Extraction Arms
These are used for extraction of fumes generated during various types of welding processes. These arms are fully or partially adjustable across three axis (x,y,z). They are further connected to ducts that carry the air from the centrifugal blower.

The entrapped fumes can either be treated (by various techniques), or be exhausted untreated, depending on the requirement.

Various length & diameter specifications are available on request.

One of the largest reasons for the power efficiency of Santoni Dust Collection & fume extraction systems is the aerodynamic design of the ducts. Well designed ducts are critical because:

  • Pressure Drop: Massive levels of drop in pressure are created by ill-designed ducts, failing an otherwise good system
  • Excessive Wear can cause a lot of drain of air from the ducts
  • Improper Air Distribution can result from badly graded ducts – this affects the airflow levels from reaching desired levels at different points
  • Turbulance caused by bad joints, sharp bends & Tees causes high pressure drop, and also increased wear of duct itself
  • Material of Construction needs to be chosen depending on the material to be carried – corrosive, abrasive, chemical reaction, etc.
  • The cost of system also depends on the a well designed duct layout

Suction Hoods
A well designed suction hood plays a crucial role in the overall dust collection & fume extraction system performance. Santoni is known to provide exceptionally efficient suction hoods.

Many times, Santoni has replaced high power-low performance systems, with low power-high performance systems – design of the suction hood has played a critical role. This obviously increases the profitability massively.

Rotary Air Locks
Rotary Air lock is used to seal pressurized systems against loss of air/gas, while maintaining material flow between component having different pressure. Air Lock applications range from gravity discharge of filters, rotary valves, cyclone dust collects to precision feeders – for dilute phase and continuous dense phase pneumatic conveying systems

Screw Conveyor
Within a screw conveyor, a rotating helical screw blade within a rube/trough is used – to move semi-solid materials like food waste, wood chips, aggregates, cereal grains, boiler ash, animal feed, municipal solid waste etc.

Santoni Screw Conveyors are used for material feed & control applications – they are used under baghouses to transfer the material from bottom of a silo/baghouse to another point at the same height / slightly higher level.

Variable speed conveyors can be used for measured feed of material into a process.

Available in SS, MS or other material of construction, as required.
